We collect information to operate the App, keep it secure, and improve user experience. Depending on how you use the App, we may collect:

• Account / profile information: nickname you set, gender (if provided), and basic profile settings.
• Device & log information: IP address, app-specific device identifier, device information (such as OS version), and technical logs.
• Chat & user content: messages and chat logs, and content you choose to upload or share (images, videos, audio).
• Location information (optional): only if you grant permission or enable location-based features; you can withdraw consent at any time.
• Phone number (optional, where available): if you choose phone-based verification. In some regions (for example South Korea), this may be used to support youth-safety measures required by applicable guidance or law.
• Crash & performance data: crash reports and performance logs to diagnose issues and improve stability.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide core features (matching, chat, media sharing) and operate the App.
• Maintain safety and prevent abuse (spam, fraud, harassment, and illegal content).
• Moderate content and respond to user reports.
• Improve performance, fix bugs, and develop new features.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in the following cases:

• Service providers: vendors that help us operate the App (for example hosting, database, analytics/crash reporting, customer support). They may process data only on our instructions.
• Legal & safety: when required by law, legal process, or to protect users, the public, or our rights (for example investigations of illegal activity).
• With your direction: when you intentionally share content with other users (for example sending messages or media in chat).

4. Data Retention & Deletion

• Chat records: generally retained for up to 3 months for service operation and safety, then deleted or anonymized unless longer retention is required by law.
• Media (images/videos/audio): generally deleted from our servers within 2–3 days after upload/sharing, unless it must be retained for safety investigations or legal compliance.
• Location information: deleted promptly after the purpose is achieved; if stored, it is retained for the shortest period necessary (for example within a few days).

5. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information, including encryption in transit (for example HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.

6. Your Choices & Rights

• Access, update, or delete certain information via in-app settings (where available).
• Withdraw permissions (for example location) in your device settings.
• Request account deletion via the in-app withdrawal feature or by contacting us.

7. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the minimum age required by applicable law. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at kalnalvid@gmail.com and we will take appropriate action.

8. International Data Transfers

Depending on where our service providers are located, your information may be processed in countries other than your own. We take steps to protect your information consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
